Check the work's language and subtitles, and the actual venue address first. Once you have chosen a session and seat, prepare for ticket collection, entry conditions and your journey back afterward.

Check both the production title and the actual venue address
Even within Daehangno or Hongdae, venues are spread apart. Read the production title, session and venue address on the booking screen and save the location on your map. If you need to exchange your ticket on site, locate the ticket counter too.
Choose dialogue, subtitles and performance formats that suit you
Read the production description to see whether it mainly uses Korean dialogue, has subtitles, or focuses on music and performance. A description saying it is popular with international visitors does not establish that other languages are supported. Entry preparation and the time you will spend standing also depend on whether it uses reserved seats, unreserved seating or standing admission.
After booking, prepare for entry and your journey back
Read the ticket seller's and venue's information about age requirements, identification, ticket collection, photography rules and late entry. Eating nearby before the performance reduces travel. Look up transport back to your accommodation afterward too.
