What to Eat at a Baseball Stadium: Food, Ordering and What You Can Bring In

Choose what you would like to eat, such as chicken, gimbap or tteokbokki, then find an outlet you can reach from your seat. Read the home club's rules separately for bringing in outside food, drinks and containers.

Remember this first

Choose what you would like to eat, such as chicken, gimbap or tteokbokki, then find an outlet you can reach from your seat. Read the home club's rules separately for bringing in outside food, drinks and containers.

01

Decide whether to share or have a meal on your own

Chicken or pizza is good for sharing, but consider whether there is room for the packaging at your seat. Choose gimbap or a simple meal after checking the portion and contents. Think about whether food with hot broth will be easy to eat at your seat, and do not judge spiciness or allergens by the menu name alone.

02

What are chicken, tteokbokki and gimbap?

Fried chicken is chicken cooked by frying, while yangnyeom chicken is coated in sauce. Check the outlet's menu for sweetness, spiciness and whether it has bones. Tteokbokki is rice cake cooked in sauce, so take care not to splash the seasoning or broth. Gimbap fillings vary, so ask before ordering about ingredients you cannot eat, such as egg, meat or fish cake.

If you are sharing, check the quantity and packaging. If you are alone, a small meal that is easy to hold may suit you. These foods are not sold at every stadium, so check your stadium's information for the outlets that actually sell them.

03

Find food outlets you can reach from your seating section

Stadium food outlets are spread across floors and sections, and the areas you can access may depend on your ticket. Find the outlet on the official stadium map, then decide whether to buy food before entering or after finding your seat. Use information for the day to check whether an outlet is open and a menu item is still available.

04

Rules may differ for outside food, bottles and cans

Permission to bring in food does not mean every drink, bottle, can or cooler bag is allowed. Read the home club's latest rules on what you can bring in and security guidance before preparing. If you buy alcohol, follow the outlet's identification and sales conditions.

05

Allow for the time it takes to collect your food

If you use a kiosk or app, first check that the language, payment methods and contact options work for you. After paying, save your order number and collection point. If queues are long, you could enter and find your seat before buying food.

Outlets and prices can change by season. Before choosing what to eat, read the outlet locations and operating notices for your stadium in the official club information below.
