Check the branch and room conditions you booked first
Compare the accommodation name, address and branch on your booking confirmation with the map. Also check check-in and check-out dates, guest numbers and bed configuration. If the booking name differs from the name in your passport, ask your accommodation before arriving. A saved Korean address is also useful when taking a taxi or asking for directions on site.
Your room may not be available immediately if you arrive early
If you arrive early, ask whether you can leave just your luggage before entering your room. Also check for fees or a deadline for collecting it. For late arrival or unattended check-in, get access instructions and contact details in advance, and save them so you can read them without internet access.
Consider accommodation charges and deposits separately
Even if you have prepaid your stay, a separate deposit or extra service charges may apply. Card approval, the actual charge and the time a cancellation is reflected can also differ, so keep your receipts and the accommodation's instructions. Use the terms of the accommodation you booked as the reference for amounts and conditions.
Ask about delivery collection and luggage storage after check-out too
Read the accommodation's instructions on bringing in outside food, where to receive deliveries, laundry facilities and waste disposal. Check the rules for your room too. If luggage storage after check-out is unavailable, arrange storage or airport transport before planning your last day's sightseeing.
