Buy a citybound Bus 6002 ticket. Do not assume Hongdae's airportbound stop and citybound alighting point are the same. Check the citybound stop in front of Olive Young on the operator's map.

Check the route's boarding area at airport ticket counters or through official information. Terminal 2 and Terminal 1 use different floors and boarding locations.

Board a citybound bus

Confirm your destination stop with the driver and put large bags in the luggage space indicated. Remember where they are stored so you can collect them when alighting.

Which arrival station should I select for Hongdae?

Select “Hongik University Station,” called 홍대입구역 in Korean. This arrival station is reached on the All Stop Train without a transfer. Separately check your accommodation address to decide which exit to use.

Do I need to reserve a seat on the All Stop Train too?

The All Stop Train has no reserved seats. Use a transport card or buy a single-use ticket to Hongik Univ. Station. Express Train seat reservations are for a different train that does not stop at Hongik Univ.
