K-pop Venue Guides for Seoul, Incheon and Gyeonggi

Look up venues by name for directions and maps, preparation before entry, how to check storage options and routes back to your accommodation after the performance.

After checking the venue and hall name, plan both your entry preparations and your route back to your accommodation after the performance. Rules on what you can bring, identification requirements and shuttles may vary by performance even at the same venue.

Once Your Performance Date Is Set

  1. Check the performance name, date, venue, hall and seating section in official ticketing and organizer announcements. Eligibility may differ for fan-club presales, general sales and overseas booking pages.
  2. Check whether you will collect your ticket on site or use a mobile ticket, and what is required, such as your original passport, the booking holder's name or the card used to buy it. Not every performance requires the same documents.
  3. Check gate opening, identification, standing-admission assembly and performance start times separately. Compare the Korean time specified in the official announcement with your device's time too.
  4. Follow the announcement for your performance on bag size, cameras, power banks, drinks, light sticks, photography and re-entry. Do not substitute an account of another artist's performance at the same venue for the rules.
  5. Check whether storage operates, the accepted bag sizes and the collection deadline. Do not assume a locker will be empty; also compare leaving large luggage at your accommodation.
  6. If you need wheelchair seating, a companion or an entry route that avoids stairs, ask the ticket seller and organizer before booking. A nearby station exit does not guarantee step-free access to the venue.

Save Your Route Back to Your Accommodation First

Enter your accommodation's exact address, rather than the venue, as your destination in a map app and look up the return route for your performance date. Include the walk from the venue exit to the station or stop and the final connection on any line you transfer to. One time, such as “the subway runs until midnight,” cannot determine the return journey from every venue.

If preparing a taxi as an alternative, save a booking app, payment method and your accommodation's Korean address in advance. Do not assume you can get a car immediately outside the venue; follow the official pickup and drop-off guidance. If you miss the last service, compare routes with actual nighttime operations, taxis and local accommodation.

If Staying near the Venue

Do not compare accommodation only by straight-line distance from the venue. Check whether you can walk from the actual entrance and whether transport is available at night. For performances ending outside Seoul, such as at INSPIRE or in Goyang, compare a round trip to accommodation in Seoul with staying locally.

If adding sightseeing during the day, first arrange luggage storage, a meal before entry and arrival at the venue, then choose somewhere nearby to fit the remaining time. If you plan to go directly to the airport after the performance, you must allow for flight departure-procedure deadlines as well as transport.
