Getting to the First Stop
Search the whole route from your Seoul accommodation to Seohaerang's Jeongok Cable Car Station. If using public transport via Suwon or elsewhere, arrange the final mainland section and return journey together. If booking a vehicle, check the address to ensure your destination is Jeongok Station, not Jebu Station.
One Day
Seohaerang Jeongok Cable Car Station
Check current operations and the last return boarding time before crossing to Jebudo. Weather may change operations, so check official notices before setting out too.
Your mainland destination is Seohaerang's Jeongok Cable Car Station. The operator describes the approach as steep, so ask about access before booking if slopes are difficult for you.
Around Jebudo's Beach
Walk just one section near the beach that you want to see. Choose a tidal-flat activity only if separate operations and safety guidance have been confirmed, and distinguish it from a walk with sea views.
After arriving at Jebu Cable Car Station, find the actual route to the beach and transport within the island. Do not assume every beach attraction connects directly to the station.
A Meal on Jebudo and Return to Jebu Cable Car Station
Decide after eating whether to add more walking on the island, leaving time for the journey back first. If waiting for the sunset, check that your return transport and cable car operations fit.
Save the route from your last meal stop back to Jebu Cable Car Station. Check your return ticket and boarding conditions for the day, then cross back to Jeongok Station.
Meals and Breaks
Choose where to eat on Jebudo by considering both your beach walk and the route back to Jebu Cable Car Station. You do not have to eat seafood on this itinerary. Ask directly for menu items that meet your needs concerning ingredients, raw food and allergies.
Rainy Days or Days When Walking Is Difficult
If the cable car stops because of strong winds or safety issues, shorten the island-crossing plan or move it to another day. The tidal road has separate access conditions, so do not treat it as an immediately available alternative when the cable car stops.
Preparing for the Journey Back
After returning from Jebu to Jeongok Cable Car Station, take the bus, booked vehicle or taxi you chose in advance to a railway station or your Seoul accommodation. Do not start researching your return to Seoul only once on the island. If planning to drive across the tidal road, check Hwaseong City's passable times and on-site restrictions separately.
