Wolmi Park's Traditional Garden and Wolmi Sea Train

Getting to the First Stop

Prepare the rail journey from Seoul to Incheon Station separately from the final bus or taxi ride to Wolmi Park. Do not treat your arrival time at Incheon Station as the time you enter the garden or board the train.

   Wolmi Park Korean Traditional Garden

   Focus on the pond and garden spaces. Choose a climb to the Wolmisan observatory separately, and leave time to rest in the garden.

   Look up a bus or taxi route from Incheon Station to Wolmi Park. Do not fix the itinerary as a walk from Incheon Station through the whole park.

   Wolmi Sea Train

   Read the operating days, ticket information and reboarding conditions, and ride only if you can manage the actual wait. If the wait is long, leave out the train and keep just the park and seaside walks.

   Choose a boarding station, such as Wolmi Park Station, that fits your stops before and afterward. The sightseeing train ticket is separate from the metropolitan rail ticket used to reach Incheon Station.

   Wolmi Culture Street

   Enjoy sea views from ordinary pedestrian areas, then eat and head back. Choose amusement rides separately after checking the child's age and height and operating conditions that day.

   Find the actual walking route between your alighting station and Culture Street. Decide where to start the journey back to Incheon Station from your last restaurant.

Meals and Breaks

Allow time for a meal and toilets between the garden visit and train ride. Read the rules on bringing food onto the train and eating it there, and ask about pricing units and preparation methods before ordering seafood.

Rainy Days or Days When Walking Is Difficult

Reduce garden and coastal walks in strong rain or wind. Check Wolmi Sea Train's operations that day too, and do not treat it as an indoor alternative guaranteed to run in bad weather.

Preparing for the Journey Back

Prepare the bus or taxi journey from Wolmido to Incheon Station together with the onward rail journey to your accommodation. Do not decide you can return to Seoul based only on the sightseeing train's last departure.

Booking, Stairs and Weather Checks

• Tickets and safety standards for amusement rides are separate from those for the Sea Train.
• If the sightseeing train is not running or has a long wait, do not spend all your meal and return-travel time waiting for a ride.
