Itinerary Beyond Seoul, Departing from Seoul · Two Days and One Night

Two Relaxed Days and One Night around Yeosu Expo and an Aquarium

Stay near Yeosu-Expo Station, with the ocean park on the first day and Aqua Planet Yeosu on the next. This itinerary does not require adding Odongdo or a sightseeing cruise.

Choose this if you do not want to start a long walk immediately after traveling between cities. Decide by the actual amount of walking and indoor-visit preferences rather than whether you are with parents or children, and choose your turning-back point in the park first.

Getting to the First Stop

Look up services from Yongsan Station arriving at Yeosu-Expo Station. Distinguish Yeocheon Station from Yeosu-Expo Station. If arriving at the bus terminal, replan local travel instead of applying the walk from the station directly.

Day 1 · Arrival at Yeosu-Expo Station and the Ocean Park

  1. Expo Ocean Park

Enter the park area from the station and walk only your chosen coastal section. If arriving late, you can reduce the plan to dinner and rest at your accommodation.

Cross the road at the crosswalk in front of Yeosu-Expo Station and walk toward the Expo site. Locate the entrance of the actual facility you will visit separately.

  2. Accommodation Check-in and Dinner

Choose accommodation by comparing actual distances from Expo Station and the park. Do not build your evening plan around an assumed nighttime performance or fireworks show.

Walk or arrange vehicle travel to your selected accommodation. Ask about hills, stairs and luggage storage before booking.

Day 2 · Optional Aqua Planet Yeosu Visit, Then the Journey Back

  1. Aqua Planet Yeosu

Check operations, tickets and child visitor conditions, then see the exhibitions. Add performances or activities only if they are offered on your date and their booking conditions suit you.

Travel from your accommodation in the Expo area to the aquarium's actual visitor entrance. If the walking distance does not suit you, look up a taxi separately.

  2. Lunch and Return to Yeosu-Expo Station

Return to the station after lunch. Odongdo is an optional separate route to consider only if weather, walking load and return time allow, and is not an essential stop on this itinerary.

Check the actual walking route or vehicle journey from the aquarium or restaurant to Yeosu-Expo Station.

Meals and Breaks

Keep park sightseeing and meals separate to leave time to sit and rest. If eating fish or shellfish is difficult, first choose a place with cooked dishes or other menu options. Check children's menus and allergy accommodations with each restaurant.

Rainy Days or Days When Walking Is Difficult

You can reduce the ocean park walk and switch to an aquarium visit if it is operating. If ticket conditions or operations do not fit, reduce the plan to meals and rest at your accommodation. Sea views and outdoor journeys do not all keep you out of the rain.

Preparing for the Journey Back

Account for luggage collection and travel to the station before finishing your aquarium visit. Set your return service from Yeosu-Expo Station before deciding on extra walking.

Booking, Stairs and Weather Checks

  • Aquarium tickets and programs have separate purchase conditions. On-site admission and remaining places are not guaranteed.
  • The ocean park's facilities are not all equally close to the station. Choose the name and entrance of the facility you will visit.
  • Do not judge parents' walking ability by age alone. Check age, height and guardian conditions for children's activities separately by program too.
