Opening Hours and Bookings

Sungnyemun is open year-round, 09:00–18:00 (last admission 17:55), with a regular Monday closure. If it falls on a public holiday, it opens and closes on the first following non-holiday. Seoullo is listed as always open, but weather, maintenance and safety restrictions take priority. Namdaemun Market shops have individual hours.

Ordinary market visits and pedestrian walks do not require booking. Paid activities, group guided visits and individual shop reservations are separate from the default plan.

This suggests half a day for the market, heritage visit and breaks. Actual time varies with your visiting pace and queues.

Culture Station Seoul 284

The former Seoul Station main building is used as a cultural space. Choose an exhibition instead of a Seoullo walk, but do not include an indoor visit on days without an exhibition or during changeovers.

Basic hours during exhibitions or events are 10:00–18:00, with last admission 30 minutes before closing. During Design of Care from 2026-09-17 to November 1, Wednesdays alone extend until 19:00.

The current temporary exhibition is free. Distinguish general exhibitions from separate activity and tour applications. Building tours operate separately at booked times; check sessions actually accepting bookings. Do not apply activity-booking or age requirements to general admission.

Closed on Mondays and during periods without exhibitions or events. The current exhibition also closes on Chuseok. Indoor visits are not guaranteed after an exhibition ends or during changeovers.

• This is the former Seoul Station main building at 1 Tongil-ro, separate from the current KTX station.
• Do not present the interior as permanently open after 2026-11-01. View the exterior instead on closed days.
• Do not misread the notice that venue hire is unavailable in 2026 as prohibiting general visits.
