Check the visiting date and admission conditions, and start your day around Haenggung.
Find the location on a map ↗ - 02
A nearby section of fortress walls
You can walk only a section suited to your energy and the slopes. You do not need to complete the entire fortress circuit.
- 03
A meal near Haenggung or baseball
You can finish with a meal and rest. If you have booked baseball tickets, allow separate time to get to the ballpark.
How should you get there?
After arriving at Suwon Station, you need another journey to Hwaseong Haenggung Palace. Enter the actual entrance of your first stop and look up bus, taxi and walking sections.
Where should you eat?
If you want galbi, check each restaurant's prices and ordering units together. Deciding between a quick meal and allowing plenty of dining time helps you plan your budget and afternoon.
If staying in this neighborhood
Decide whether to return to Seoul or stay in Suwon based on your next day's destination. If you watch baseball in the evening, you will also need transport from the ballpark to the station or your accommodation.
When you want to change plans
If it rains or long walks are difficult, shorten the fortress section. Special night visits are not held every day, so check Suwon Cultural Foundation's information for the date.
