How about exploring in this order?
Feel free to change the order to suit where you want to go and how long you want to stay. Before visiting, check each place's reservation and operating information.
- 01
A walk along part of Seokchon Lake
Choose a section to suit the weather and your energy. You do not have to walk all the way around the lake.
Find the location on a map ↗ - 02
Meals and indoor activities
Find the location of the restaurant you want to visit on Songridan-gil or in a mall. Allow separate time for observatory and amusement facility reservations and queues.
- 03
Sports or evening plans
If watching baseball, prepare the official schedule and tickets, and allow time to get to the stadium.
How should you get there?
Distinguish destinations around Jamsil Station from those near the Sports Complex. The shopping malls, lake and stadium are not all gathered in front of one exit.
Where should you eat?
Decide first whether to eat nearby before the match or buy food inside the ballpark. Restaurants and ballpark shops need to be looked up separately, and queueing time will differ too.
If staying in this neighborhood
Consider accommodation near Jamsil if you have many plans in Songpa and southeastern Seoul. If visiting Jongno or Hongdae daily, compare the round-trip journeys too.
When you want to change plans
If it rains, shorten the lake walk. Check official match notices to see whether baseball will take place rather than judging from the weather alone.
